Killing HPAdvisor.exe

The relevant executable is C:Program FilesHewlett-PackardHP AdvisorHP Advisor.exe, and it is launched on startup by the Registry key HKEY_USERSS-1-5-21-158459594-3633956175-40488-46161-1000SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRUNHPADVISOR. Kill that key and the annoying overlay menu no longer runs on startup. The executable remains installed and can be run manually if you really want it.
