Dropping a MySQL database

Dropping (deleting) a MySQL database is easy. Here is how to do it using phpMyAdmin, a tool commonly provided by web hosts. …

Open phpMyAdmin in a web browser. On a local installation this might be at http://localhost/phpmyadmin/. On a hosted account, your web host should supply you with the URL, or see your host's administration tools.

In the left frame, select the the database you want to drop (e.g. vtigercrm510). In the right frame, click on the Drop tab and confirm.

Log out of phpMyAdmin when you are finished.
